After having finished our two successful qualifiers we are now ready to go into the Final of the ZyXEL sponsored tournament, the ZyXEL COD4 1v1 Challenge. This tournament holds 32 qualified players and ZyXEL is rewarding the first placed player with a complete ZyXEL home networking system with a total value of about 490€.

The signups for the first Qualifiers filled up at an unbelievable rate filling all the 256 spots available in under 2 days! The battle for the top 16 is definately going to be hard fought, not only due to the amount of people but due to some well respected players being in the mix too.

Today we would like to announce our next big tournament, kindly sponsored by ZyXEL, our next tournament will be the ZyXEL COD4 1v1 Challenge. This tournament will obviously be held in a 1on1 format in Call of Duty 4 S&D. ZyXEL is rewarding the first placed player with a complete ZyXEL home networking system with a total value of about 490€.

This tournament will hold two qualifiers where the top 16 players will progress to the Grand Final on 25th May. The first qualifier will take place this Sunday 4th May at 13.00CET and the second qualifier will be held on 11th May. There are no restrictions to sign up, all you need is Call of Duty 4, the PAM4.0 mod and you're ready to go.
We will be using the EuroCup ruleset for our tournament, however the only map played in this tournament will be Crash in a Best of 1 format. All matches will be played with Max Rounds 7 and a Round time of 1:30. A maximum of 256 players will be able to sign up for each qualifier and we will also have a waiting list available for the tournament in case people cannot make the cup on the day.

-> Make sure you are idling in the tournament channel at all times! (#dignitas.cup @ quakenet)
-> All participants NEED to be in the channel 30mins before their arranged match time. Details of each rounds starting time will be released on this site and in the IRC channel closer to the time. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK REGULARLY. Admins will not chase you!
-> A no-show will result in disqualification. ONLY if both players agree and it is within 15mins of arranged time, will match be allowed to be played. We cannot afford to be delayed.
